Paris may have the Eiffel Tower and New York Times Square, but only in Vegas does the city go into overdrive with a magical fireworks display, exclusive concerts and a white-hot nightlife scene. Here are a few of our favorite New Year’s Eve happenings:
Kick off the New Year’s Eve celebration with a four-course Italian meal at Verandah prepared by Chef Antonio Minichiello. Roasted Canadian Lobster and Amarone Wine Risotto highlight the first and second courses while the main course will feature Wild Striped Seabass or an American Kobe Beef Tenderloin. A decadent dessert by Pastry Chef Jean-Luc Daul will follow.
Everything is bigger and better in Las Vegas and fireworks are no exception. The city’s breathtaking New Year’s Eve fireworks show takes place from the rooftops of multiple properties on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, making the iconic skyline even more colorful. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas’ Strip View newly renovated guest rooms and suites offer the perfect vantage point!
Tony and Emmy Award Winning sensation Kristin Chenoweth will perform a special New Year’s Eve concert at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in historic downtown Las Vegas. Chenoweth will perform an array of her most memorable songs and Broadway show tunes, including music from “Wicked,” “Promises, Promises” and “Glee.” The concert will take place in the center’s stunning 2,050 seat theater.
Las Vegas is known for its sizzling nightlife and that is only magnified on New Year’s Eve. One of the city’s largest and most talked about New Year’s Eve parties will take place at one of the city’s largest and most talked about venues – the new Hakkasan at the MGM Grand. The star-studded event will feature world-renowned DJ Calvin Harris.
